I started in media buying in 2008 and moved into digital when it was still the new department. Since then I have planned EMEA campaigns for global brands at Carat in London, owned Kaspersky's global digital media budget with full ROI accountability, and built Bayer's global media capability from scratch.
Two things run through that career. First, in-housing: I founded and led full media in-housing programmes at two different companies, both delivering measured commercial gains. Second, measurement: from pioneering Nielsen/Visual IQ attribution to building a Google-featured predictive AI platform, I have always insisted that media answers to the numbers.
